W B Baker’s extensive academic and professional biography has been catalogued in The Cambridge Blue Book, The Worldwide Honours List, Who’s Who in the World (Marquis), and Contemporary Authors (Thomson Gale).  The author has been awarded numerous honours and citations, which include:  Top 100 Writers (Author Laureate), Man of the Year (USA), Men of Achievement (Cambridge, England), Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century (UK), Great Minds of the Twenty-First Century (GB), The Royal Edition of the Dictionary of International Biography (Melrose Press), and an Investiture of Knighthood from the International Order of St George.  His poetry, university texts, and novels are currently available in one hundred-ninety-two nations around the world and at Waterstones of London, Blackwell’s Bookshop of Oxford, Foyles of London, Barnes & Noble, and at hatchard’s of Piccadilly, and other fine bookstores.

He was graciously presented the Queen’s Golden Jubilee medal upon receiving the commendation of His Grace, The Most Reverend and Right Honourable Dr Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury, and at the command of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.  An Honourary appointment to the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire ensued in 2010, when the author was dispatched the distinction from Her Majesty through her Lady in-Waiting, Lady Marion Veronica Brett, in Westminster.

Further, W B Baker has been conveyed the ancestral Lordship of his 23rd Great-Grandfather, Baron William de La Zouche of Bedfordshire:  initially conferred by His Majesty Edward II, King of England, at the Palace of Westminster in London in the Year of Our Lord 1324; the author accordingly acknowledged under English Title Law as the Legitimate and Rightful Lord of Thornbury.
